Only fill your car half full with petrol, as the weight of petrol itself will add to your consumption! :ugeek:

I buy Ammonia and dilute it according to the instructions, it's a wonderful DO-ALL household cleaner. I save on buying Windex, Fantastik, Kitchen Degreasing products, etc.

I also buy a cloth rags at the local Trak Auto store, and use the rags instead of paper towels to clean around the house, especially windows, mirrors, counter tops, appliances, etc. Once they get dirty I just throw them in the wash and reuse.

I use sandwich box containers instead of sandwich bags. I also save the little ketchup packets from fast food chains to pack in my kid's hot dog lunch. I also save any other condiments they throw in like dipping sauces or sugar packets--for emergency uses.

My dad told me a great way of making the most out of the petrol thats in my car. He told that if you accelerate and stop too quickly while your driving then you waste more fuel so next time when you drive make sure that when you accelerat the speed of your car you do it slowly and not all of a sudden and when you slow down make sure you slow down slowly as well and keep the speed of the car more consistant and hopefully you will save more fuel. Hopefully you guys understood exactly what i was trying to say and it made sense.

Hope the advice helps let me know
